I was going to record, and the option for whether I wanted to keep or delete my footage came up. I didn't press anything and decided to exit to check the assignment's description. I do so, go back to record, AND ALL MY FOOTAGE WAS GONE. I was almost done this project. I had worked really hard on it, but it all disappeared. This isn't the first time my footage has been deleted either. This app has caused me a lot of stress and frustration. Wouldn't recommend at least until the issue is resolved.

This app and website are both absolute trash! I needed to upload a video for a course I'm doing and the app kept getting an error at 97% upload and I couldn't even download the video to force the upload because of some nonsense error. I tried going on 4G AND WiFi, same issue. I tried closing all other apps. Same issue. I even tried restarting my phone twice! Same issue! I tried finding my saved drafts on the website, nowhere to be found! This is ridiculous, worst app EVER!

What a mess. Flip has left me stuck this semester, constantly causing problems for me as the instructor (although no students have complained). Most videos won't play in the app. I either get a black screen, a message that the video is still processing (forever), or it stops playing in the middle and refuses to start again. I also get "unexpected server error" from links in the email notifications. It's bewildering to me, since this app and this service has one job: record & playback videos!
